All of us at Look-Zippy don?t have the arrogance to think that we are doing everything perfect,
but we try constantly very hard to produce our t-shirts as environmentally friendly as possible.

Organic cotton The cotton fibre which is being used for the t-shirt production, is obtained from a 100% biological cultivation and is certified by Control Union.
Even more so, it conforms to the specifications on Bio conform controlled by Ecocert SAS (independent organisation for inspection and certification).

dye The dye conforms to the strict European norm: Oekotex standard 100 (heavy metal forbidden, formaldehyde, inspections regarding harmfulness and quality of the waste water). The colour white for example is gained from oxidization and not from chlorine which is commonly used in the industry.

silk screen printing ink The ink used in the silk-screen printing process is guaranteed without phthalates and conforms to the Norm EN71-3. They are mainly used in fabrics for baby?s which have to conform to the Norm Oekotex standard 100 class I.

As much as we can we try to reduce the amount of packaging and always prefer recycled or biodegradable materials. Our goal is to do the maximum to reduce waste and rubbish.
