The shop
Look-zippy is an online shop, which sells a limited range of silk-screen printed t-shirts. The look-zippy sales strategy enables the buyer to purchase a unique t-shirt with confidence that he will not bump into another one the street.
How does it work?
- Advance sale:
During a 15 days advance sales period, the t-shirt models will be offered at low prices for all sizes. - Stock sale:
For each selected model extra items will be included with your purchase. However, these items are limited.
The t-shirt designs are proposed by amateur or professional graphic designers.
The pre-selected designs will be published for 15 days in order to obtain the opinion of the public.
The most popular designs chosen by our members will go into production and be put up for sale.
Our t-shirts
Quality t-shirts:
All of our t-shirts are silk-screen printed by a professional printing company. Currently we offer 2 different types of t-shirts.
- American Apparel t-shirts (weighing 145g)
- Look-zippy t-shirts (weighing 180g)
Please note: Only look-zippy t-shirts carry the label with the 100% organic cotton certificate. They are recognizable by the following stamp:
We decided not to make any compromises in quality during the t-shirt printing process. Therefore numerous quality controls are being carried out during printing.

This button appears on the details view for each t-shirt.
Design voting
To avoid multiple voting for one design, only members can vote.
Voting for individual designs:
Pre-selected designs are proposed on a daily basis.
During a period of 15 days you have the opportunity to express your opinion on these designs.
By clicking on the star symbols you valuate the designs by selecting a mark between 1 and 10. You have also the opportunity to make suggestions or enter comments.
The results will be displayed automatically.
Monthly voting:
Once a month the most voted designs will be nominated for the monthly voting. Make your final choice from this selection. The principal of the participation is very easy:
- you only have to move your preferred designs into the numbered fields.
- the given marks correspond to the assigned ranking (No 1 gets the best mark)
- the confirmation is automatic
The result of the votes which were entered during the monthly voting will be published a few days after the last entered vote.
At the end of the monthly voting all entered votes will be counted and judged according to our criteria. We will choose the designs which will go into production, taken into consideration the result of this voting, the entered comments and our personal opinion.
How do I submit a design?
The silk screen method is a special printing process which needs to comply to specific criteria:
- Maximum of 4 print colors
- No graduations
- pas de tramés
- No drawing on the seam and arms
- Only the middle section of the t-shirt can be printed (small or big prints possible)
Your design has to conform to the norms in this Zip file.
You can upload here your design into your member account.
And then what happens?
As soon as you have uploaded your design we will judge it considering the technical and graphical aspects. Should we reject your design you will receive an email within a short while. Should we accept your design, we will store it and present it in our next showroom.
The rights for the submitted design are reserved under your name. If you wish we can delete your design from our database at any time.
Should we decide to give your design into production, we will issue a contract which defines precisely the right of reproduction regarding duration and quantity.
In our opinion the graphic designer is responsible for the success of a t-shirt.
It is understood that the grafic designer also profits from the sales.
The commission of a design is proportional to the t-shirt sale. We guarantee a minimum compensation of 300 euros.
Types of commission:
- 300 euro for 200 printed t-shirts
- 75 euro for every additional 50 t-shirts
For all t-shirts sold in a flash sale, the graphic designer gets a commission accordingly.
Delivery, returns and exchange:
Delivery:
The ordered t-shirts will be send to your address in a robust and waterproof envelope.
You will receive your order directly in your mail box as a Colissimo parcel (within France).
Should it not conform to the PTT norm you will find a delivery notification in your mail box.
You will receive your parcel at the post office by handing over this notification.
Dispatch date
- Should you have ordered at least one model during the flash sale, your complete order will be dispatched according to the fix dispatch dates (see the below list).
- Otherwise, all orders placed before 11 am (Monday to Friday), will be dispatched on the same day.
T-shirt delivery time:
- France: 48/72 hours
- EU: 4 to 8 days

Chronospost 1pm: All orders placed before 11am will be delivered the following day before 1pm (except for weekends and bank holidays).

Returns and exchanges:
Our main concern is that you are fully satisfied with your purchase.
In case the received t-shirt is faulty, doesn?t fit or does not please you:
then please contact us before you return it and we will explain the
procedure.
Should we not be able to send you the same t-shirt again, we will reimburse you your purchase or give you a credit.
